Slip-ups of Journeyman
I know it sounds really funny but journey of Journeyman came to an end after the first season itself. No guys I won’t bore you again by going into the details why Journeyman should have been given another chance and not cancelled just when it was. Today I will tell you all goof ups that Journeyman made and other trivia that you are sure to find interesting.
In the Pilot of Journeyman TV Show entitled Love of a Lifetime, the Vassar family was shown to be living in the same house that Dan Gordon occupied in The WB series, Charmed. It was right next door to the Halliwell Manor (on the left side as seen from the street). In case it slipped from your mind, Charmed was also set in San Francisco.
In the same episode, several shots from 1987 revealed residential permit parking signs. But the residential permit parking program did not begin in San Francisco until 1988.
In another scene when Dan was in Golden Gate Park they showed the Golden Gate Bridge in the back ground. If you have ever been to Golden Gate Park you would know that it’s fake because Golden Gate Bridge is not visible from there.
In the same episode, Dan saved Neal from being hit by a streetcar in 1987. The streetcar was the F Line on Market Street which had not come in the existence then. The F-Line started service in 1995.
In the second episode Friendly Skies The newspaper which has the headline regarding the Superbowl has Sunday’s date. But the Superbowl report should be in Monday’s paper, right guys?
What was even funnier was when Dan Vassar traveled back to the 1980s for the first time in this episode; the cars in the background were twenty first century cars.
Game Three was the third episode where the green vegetables changed position in Katie’s shopping basket as she talked to Dan on her phone.
When Dan leaped into 1994 it was announced as the year of the rabbit, in the episode entitled The Year of the Rabbit but in the Chinese Zodiac 1994 was the year of the dog.
